Through the movement, we have to take over the streets and remove them. The country has to be turned into a truly democratic state. People have woken up today. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the fall of this government is inevitable. He made the remarks at a human chain organized by the Sammilita Professional Council in front of the National Press Club on Friday (August 12) noon.
Calling upon the professionals to organize, Mirza Fakhrul said, “This is for the country. Not for BNP, not for Tarique Rahman, not for me. to save this country. Today my nation is in danger. It has destroyed the democratic spirit of my country. We have to unite and agitate to save him. Movement, movement, movement. There is no alternative to movement. Through the movement, we have to take over the streets and remove them. The country has to be turned into a truly democratic state. People have woken up today. The fall of this government is inevitable. The BNP secretary general said, “We have made it clear that our demands are very small. The demands include the release of khaleda zia, withdrawal of false cases of 3.5 million people, including Tarique Rahman, resignation of this government and handing over power to the caretaker government. Parliament must be abolished. By forming a new Election Commission, a government of the people has to be established in the true sense by holding elections under the direction of that commission. That’s our goal and demand. Let’s all move forward with that demand.
