People from all walks of life, including awami league’s associate bodies, pay homage to Bangabandhu by placing flowers at his portrait

On the occasion of the National Mourning Day and the 47th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, people from all walks of life, besides leaders and activists of awami league’s associate bodies, paid homage to him by placing wreaths at his portrait. Prime Minister And Awami League President Sheikh Hasina paid homage to Bangabandhu by placing a wreath at his portrait at Dhanmondi-32 around 6:00am.

After giving flowers, Bangabandhu’s daughter stood in silence for a while as a mark of respect to Bangabandhu. At this time, the sound of the bugle rang. Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, along with the party’s top leaders, paid homage to Bangabandhu by placing wreaths at his portrait for the second time.

When the Bangabandhu Bhaban area was opened to all, leaders and activists of Awami League and its associate organizations and people from different walks of life paid homage to the portrait of the greatest Bangalee of all time. Leaders and activists of Dhaka North and South City Awami League, Bangladesh Chhatra League, Jubo League, Mohila Awami League, Jubo Mohila League, Swechchhasebak League, Sramik League and Tanti League also paid homage to bangabandhu by placing wreaths at his portrait.

Besides, the Jatiya Party paid homage to the portrait of Bangabandhu. On the other hand, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh paid tribute. Officials of the corporation were present at the time.

Apart from this, dhaka university, university grants commission, Islamic Foundation, Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote, Awami Muktijoddha League, Bangabandhu Generation League, Bangabandhu Professional League, various social, voluntary, cultural institutions, professional organizations and institutions were seen placing wreaths.
