PM pays homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his grave at Tungipara

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his grave at Tungipara in Gopalganj. His younger sister Sheikh Rehana was with him.
The prime minister reached The Samadhi Soudha Complex at 10:45 am and paid homage at 10:50 am. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was accompanied by her younger sister Sheikh Rehana, her son Bobby Siddiqui, Bobby Siddiqui’s wife and sons and daughters, Bagerhat-1 MP Sheikh Helal Uddin and his family members, PM’s Military Secretary Major General Kabir Ahmed, Bagerhat-2 MP Sheikh Sarhan Naser Tanmoy, Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Joint General Secretary Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nayeem, Central Chhatra League General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya. Mayor of Tungipara Municipality Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul, members of the Sheikh family, leaders of Gopalganj district, Tungipara and Kotalipara upazila Awami League and associate organizations were present.
Earlier on Friday (August 12) morning, the Prime Minister left Ganobhaban. It’s his personal visit. As always, he crossed the Padma Bridge with a toll. After crossing the Padma Bridge, Sheikh Hasina reached Muksudpur in Gopalganj at 9:40 am and Gopalganj Sadar at 10:20 am. Later, he reached Bangabandhu’s Mausoleum Complex at Tungipara at 10:45 am.
