Training of hotel owner employees at the initiative of Kuakata Tourism Board

The hotel motel sits on the issue of health care in the Corona Conservatory of the City of Kuakata. Welcome to this initiative, the district administrator motiul Islam Chowdhury called for protecting the tourism industry by providing health care.

The district administrator invited hotel motel owners and staff to an online-based virtual training workshop to ensure health safety in the tourist city of Kuakata. The workshop was held in the hall room of the Hotel Graver Inn, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Tourism Board and the Kuakata Hotel Motel Owners Association at 11 pm on Friday. The chief guest at the workshop was wahidzam Sohel, senior vice president of the Kuakata Hotel Motel Owners Association, said at the workshop of the district administrator, Motiul Islam Chowdhury.

The special guest was kalapara upazila CEO Abu Hasnat Mohammed Shahidul Haque, Kuakata Municipal Mayor Abdul Barek Mollah, Kalapara Upazila Assistant (Land) Officer Jagatbandhu Mondal, General Secretary of hotel motel owners association Motaleb Sharif. The training workshop was attended by two hundred motel owners and employees who were trained in health care by Upazila Health Officer Chinmay Hawaladar. Wahiduzzaman Sohel has produced a documentary on ensuring the health of tourists and hotel staff in residential hotel motels. The conductor was The Ruman Imtiaz Snow. After the training, the participants were given certificates.

During the event, the CEO of the Tourism Board (Additional Secretary) Jabed Ahmed and the Director of the Tourism Board (Joint Secretary) Abu Taher Mohammad Jaber monitored the training workshops from the online virtual link. District and Upazila administration officials were also present at the workshop to discuss how to keep the hotel motel open in the coming days, following health care.

For the first time, the Bangladesh Tourism Board organized a virtual training for hotel owners to manage the business by keeping the residential hotel open in accordance with health care. The district administrator of the district of Muzaffarnagar thanked the leaders of the Bangladesh Tourism Board and hotel motel owners association for such training. The district administration declared the Beach of Kuakata a lockdown on March 19. Since then, there have been about 200 hotels and motels, including tourist-oriented organizations. And about 5,000 workers are unemployed.
