Over 5 lakh families received DNCC corona relief

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has distributed relief materials among over 5 lakh families in the capital amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. It has so far sprayed disinfectant in around 120 million square foot areas until and still continued the process, said a press release. A total of 324,549 families received necessary food items from the DNCC fund and relief provided by the Disaster Management and Relief Ministry, it said.
Besides, Mayor Atiqul Islam distributed aid among 65,000 families. DNCC ward councillors distributed relief assistance among 96,130 families while public representatives and volunteers provided relief to 14,941 families. DNCC will continue relief distribution among the affected people, the press release said.
