Case filed over physician’s death in Barishal

A case was filed over the recovery of the body of physician MA Azad Sajal in Barishal city on Tuesday. The doctor was the senior consultant of Burn and Plastic Surgery unit of Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
Abdur Rahman Mukul, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Kotwali Police Station, said victim’s brother Dr Shahariar filed the murder case with the police station against some unknown people.
Police are investigating the incident, he said. Earlier in the morning, police recovered the body of the physician from under the lift of Mamata Specialised Hospital on Kalibar road in the city.
